Take Charge of Your Atmosphere!

I happened to get to work unusually early and was the first one there. After opening the doors and turning the lights on, I felt the Holy Spirit whisper, “take charge of the atmosphere”

I knew the day ahead was full of lots of meetings and extra activity with corporate making a visit and had already seasoned the day in prayer earlier that morning.

But again I felt the Lord’s gentle nudge to take charge of the atmosphere in the office that day - before it had even really begun.

And so I did just that!

I started singing at the top of my lungs in worship and adoration to the King of Kings and marched “Jericho style” around my office.

In the blink of an eye the Lion of the Tribe of Judah filled the air and I knew that I completed my early morning assignment from the Lord to take charge of the atmosphere in my workplace so that HE might have MORE LIBERTY to work and flow freely throughout all that was going to unfold that day.

“Lift up ye heads, O ye gates; and be lift up ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle.”-Psalm 24:7-8

As a spirit-filled believer living in covenant relationship, every dark force must bow to the authority of the Almighty God that dwells within you. Do not make the mistake of abdicating your authority through action, attitude, or words. Remember who are in Christ and whatever you are tasked with to do today, walk tall and strong as a child of the king and take charge of your atmosphere. There is much that the Lord Jesus desires to do through you today.
